What If You Can't Drive Anymore?

Don't get me wrong, I do have my ATD (Approval To Drive) and I'm valid to Ubering till mid of next year 2018.

However, recently something bad happened to me. I fractured my right hand from a fall.

My injury is known as Gamekeeper's thumb. It will roughly take about 6-8 weeks for full recovery.

So, as a self-employed hand stop also means mouth stop. What should I do?

Luckily, personally I have a hospitalisation plan (in case I need to go for surgery) and also passive income from investments to back me up.

What about you? What would you do if you were in my shoe?

PDVL EXAM Yesterday 29th January 2018, I just took my PDVL exam. I was very nervous as I told myself I do not want to waste time and money to retake again. Grab Bought Over Uber!

April Fool's Joke? Most of you already heard about the news announced this morning on 26th March 2018 that Uber is acquired by Grab . Which means that now Grab will owns the whole of Uber's South-east Asia's business and in return, Uber will get 27.5% stake in Grab. So no, this is not an early April fool's joke. This is for REAL! It's the end for Uber drivers? Those existing Uber's drivers will still be able to use Uber driver's app till 8th April 2018 . So from now till then, probably this is the time Grab will decide how they are going to "integrate" together. For those previously got banned by Grab and came onto Uber's platform might now consider going to Grab office at Midview city to get themselves unbanned (Warning! Large crowd expected there). I still remember the last time I was waiting for a Uber pool passenger for way more than 2 minutes and cancel the ride after he refused to turn up. Never did I expect that I will be here again just within a few weeks time, but this time round searching for UberX passengers. Do you know the name of this place? Yes, this place is known as Our Tampines Hub . So as usual, I would follow Uber Map and not surprisingly Uber Map brought me to the same location as previous which is just right after a small round about before going into the carpark .
